Washington DC

Washington DC is one of my favorite American cities and one of the main reasons for that it is the broad expanse of the Mall and the splendid memorials lining it, with Arlington in the distance over the river.

This portfolio focuses on what I see as the most dramatic and evocative memorials, Jefferson Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and the Arlington National Cemetery, but also features what I think is a lesser-known, but classic memorial, the District of Columbia World War II Memorial.
